Friday began with a fun morning of the boys playing games with grandma while I did some much needed outdoor weeding. (I don't enjoy that work, so I often blame my absolute lack of attention to being busy with the boys.) We then continued our bowling streak with a 5th day in a row of bowling. The boys even talked grandma into riding a bike to the alley. She hung in there despite the lack of comfort given by the bike seat.
We offered the boys a rare treat following that by taking them to Chuck E Cheese. When Andrew and Brendan were little, I felt like all their friends were always having parties at Chuck E Cheese, so they LOVED going there. I was not a huge fan. However, in the last two years since living in Wisconsin, I have only taken the boys one time. So, Grandma Dilley gave Brendan some birthday money that we used on an afternoon at Chuck E's, which resulted in the fantastic prizes of Tootsie Pops and some baseball rings that make a clapping noise. Yippee!
We scurried off to Andrew and Brendan's golf lesson next. The lesson was brief that day, but it was a nice day to just sit outside and watch them. Since we were at a golfland, the boys asked if they could show grandma this awesome indoor putt-putt course. I consented with an impish grin, knowing that I had a few free passes up my sleeve. Here are a few pictures from the putt putt. Yes, this is a putt-putt course. It is a lot of fun!

After our putting fun, we drove home and relaxed briefly before a late night showing of Alvin and the Chipmunks in our living room. The boys know almost every line of that movie, and they are hysterical to listen to.
As soon as the boys went to bed, all the adults exhaustively picked ourselves off the couches and retired ourselves as well. Two more days to go. . .

Is there any golfing on the putt putt course? You guys are going to have to take a vacation before Uncle Jeff & Aunt Em come up. You're going to be exhausted! :)
